3rd Assistant Sound / Trainee
Foundation Member
I am a recent Film & Television Practice graduate from London South Bank University with 3 years of hands-on experience in sound recording, mixing and sound design, and a strong interest in building a career in on location sound. Through various formats like student short films, podcasts, promotional projects and music videos, I have worked as a Sound Mixer, Recordist and Sound Assistant, developing my understanding of capturing clean audio and adapting to the needs of different productions.
I started my career working as a floor runner on The Island, where I supported cast and crew, transported equipment and gained hands-on experience assisting with boom operating. More recently, I was the Sound Mixer on my graduation film, CONCRETE FISH, where I developed my practical understanding of capturing clean audio on set. These experiences have taught me the essential skills necessary to assist in the smooth running of the sound department.
My experience as a runner at Molinare and Sine Audio gave me further insight into professional sound workflows, including shadowing engineers during motion-capture game production and dialogue recording for games. Alongside my knowledge of location sound equipment and audio software, I have practical understanding of both production and post-production, a proactive approach and am eager to learn from experienced sound crews.
