BBC TV 'mumbling' issues

This came to AMPS from John Rossetti of the Guild of Television Cameramen www.GTC.tv:

I saw these comments from the BBC and wondered if amps had made any conclusions about the subject ? Ms Moore said: “Sound has been a big issue, all of us want to make sure that sound levels are absolutely so people can hear the fantastic work we are doing.”
