SUPPORTED CHARITIES

Each year AMPS supports a charity that has some connection with sound or hearing.  Currently the charity is Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, details of which can be found below along with previous charities we have donated to in some way.

This charity trains dogs to become the 'ears' for the deaf. AMPS raised funding to pay for the building of a kennel at their Training Facility.

The Film and Television Charity, formerly The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, is the unique charity of the UK Film, cinema and commercial television industries, including all aspects of production, distribution and exhibition. AMPS recently installed a hearing Aid Induction Loop System in the residential retirement village at Glebelands.

This remarkable and special school for deaf children was situated in Brighton, Sussex, UK. AMPS custom designed software and raised funding for a text caption system for their Drama Studio and theatre.

CHASE hospice care for children exists to support families with life-limited children - that is, children or young people who are not expected to reach the age of 19 because of illnesses that are incurable. AMPS target was to raise funds for a simple mixing and recording facility for their music room. This was achieved within 18 months.
