Two new stages covering a total of 30,000 sq ft are being built by Hertsmere Council on what remains of the old EMI (ABPC) site in Borehamwood (Elstree). Designed by architects Anthony Evans Associates with acoustic design for the stages in the hands of Munro Associates, the new stages will add to the three (20,000 sq ft) stages saved by Hertsmere Council's takeover after the Brent-Walker sell out and the building of a Tesco Supermarket.5 million has been set aside for the project which is due for completion in September.
